Greetings beloved of the Lord, i hope that you are doing well and resting in the goodness of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
i just returned from Uganda last night where the Lord greatly blessed the time teaching a very good group of pastors who were very attentive and hungry to learn the Word of God. We took them through our Level 3 Discipleship Class as well as through the wonderful books by Andrew Murray: Humility and Absolute Surrender. These are 2 books every Christian should read at least once in their life.
We were also able to distribute Smart phones with many wonderful Bible programs on them which aid the pastors in the study of the Word of God; along with a laptop, clothes and shoes.
It is a tremendous blessing watching these pastors grow in the grace and knowledge of Jesus Christ and then go back to the churches that God has entrusted to them and impart these truths into the lives of others.
i will be returning to Uganda in 10 days to conduct another training at our training center. This time we will be training up to 30 pastors including 5 brothers from Sudan who are living in a refugee camp on the northern border; 4 women, and a brother from Kampala. This group will learn how to teach the Inductive Bible Study Method and be sent out to teach others how to study the Bible using the IBS Method which is greatly needed in all of Africa. Some of those attending will be those already teaching the IBS and this will act as a refresher for them.
On a different note, as the need is great and the opportunity exists at the moment, we are looking at conducting another set of medical clinic outreaches this year along with our normal April outreach.
The dates have not been finalized at this moment but we are looking at sometime in late October/ early November or first week of December.
