Thank you for praying

Greetings beloved of the Lord, i hope that you are doing well and trusting in the Lord with all of your heart and not leaning unto your own understanding.

i just returned last night from a very blessed trip to Uganda where i taught a very attentive group of pastors through the Book of Acts. we also took them through Andrew Murray's book The New Life.

We were also able to give 3 pastors a smart phone with many Bible programs on them which will greatly assist them in their study of the Word of God.

To one of our teaching pastor's who is fondly known as "professor" we were able to give a refurbished laptop with many Bible programs and will aid him in the study and preparations for teaching the Word.

These are tremendous blessings for these brothers who could NEVER afford these study tools with the income that they earn.

A BIG THANK YOU, to all of you that make these and all the books that they receive each time they attend training at the center.

The trainings at the center continue to grow and increase which on one hand is a tremendous blessing it also presents a number of challenges. Such as having enough water because we are completely dependent upon rain water which our 10,000 gallon in ground storage tank collects and our hand dug well provides some water but is only good at different seasons.

There are other challenges which i will not go into detail but just ask that you be in prayer for the training center, staff, teaching pastors, pastors that attending the training each month, and the desire to add a Bible college sometime in the future.

The average overall, cost of having 2 trainings a month at the center is approximately $2000 for which the Lord provides through people like you and we are very thankful.

The end of May i will be conducting an Inductive Bible Study training at the training center where we will seek to accomplish a number of objectives. One is to train new teachers to be able to travel through Uganda and other countries and train pastors in the IBS; also to act as a refresher class on current teachers; along with training a small group of women so they can train other women how to study the Bible; also invite a small group of pastors to attend and learn how to use the IBS for the first time. We are bringing 4-5 pastors down from the border of Sudan to attend. These brothers have fled Sudan and are living in refugee camps along the northern border of Uganda.

While in Entebbe i was able to meet with the pastor of Calvary Chapel of Entebbe, and the founder of CBI who was there visiting and travel over to their Bible Institute and tour their facility and make plans for me to teach there sometime in the future as well as hold an introductory Inductive Bible Study seminar at the church in April after the medical clinics that we will be doing in the north are finished.

A reminder concerning joining the first semester of our School of Discipleship which begins February 19. Information and an application can be accessed on our website thewordtotheworld.org With technology you can join this class from anywhere in the world as long as you have access to internet.

Finally i will be leaving for Texas tomorrow to spend a week with my daughter and her family and meet my youngest of 11 grandchildren.

Thank you beloved,

your fellow servant in Christ, drew
